Measuring the Immeasurable

Yesterday, I opened the doors to my first ever academy!! A dream years in the making - truly. I went to bed last night anticipating a morning full of all the heavy emotions: fear, self-doubt, vulnerability hangover... I was just waiting for that little voice in my head to start chirping. The one that's relied on external validation all my life. I was ready to ride the wave - and meet myself with compassion and grace.

You know what happened when I woke up?!?

I felt such inner peace and gratitude. AND. It had nothing to do with numbers.

{I actually hadn't been online to check.}

It’s not that the numbers don’t matter. I’m growing a business. The numbers matter.

And beyond the business - this is work I feel called to do.

Here’s the shift I wanted to share with you ::

The days of bullshit storytelling about what those numbers mean and don't mean are done.

Numbers no longer hold power over me.

Freedom IS being grounded in Truth.

Here’s the thing - there is no way to ‘measure’ our worthiness of love + belonging. It’s our birthright. There are no conditions. No strings. No if ‘I just...then’s.’

Our worthiness is immeasurable.

It cannot be measured by how many followers we have, how much we achieve, how many likes we get, how much money we have in the bank, how many podiums we stand on, how many clients enroll - or what size pants we wear.

Even if the world tries to tell us differently.

I'm not saying those parts of our life aren't relevant or important.

 What I am saying ::

The minute we attach conditions to our worthiness, we start down a dangerous path.

For every like you get there’s one you don’t. For every client reach, there’s one you don’t.

If our self worth is hinged to our successes, the reverse is also true - which means it’s hinged to our failures too.

And, when we tether our worthiness to the expectations, thoughts and opinions of others {all things beyond our control} and/or attempt to measure it - we close the door to FREEDOM.

We shut out deep, lasting JOY.

At the end of the day, these external measurements offer us information. We can use that information to reflect. To see what’s working - and what’s not. To learn. To grow.

Not to use as a weapon. Not to use as fuel for bullshit stories. Or a way to define ourselves.

Freedom IS understanding that no matter what happens, I am still me.

Worthy of love. Worthy of belonging.

{And so are YOU}

It’s LIBERATING -being here.  And that is a huge reason WHY I’ve created the Rise Free Academy.

To help you walk HERE. To help you FEEL this shift.

So you can live a life that is truly your own.

So you can step into your light in a powerful, unapologetic way.
