Military Push-ups + Turning 7

Emotions flying high over here tonight ~ πŸ’–βœ¨

I cannot believe it's another year has passed ~ One year ago we were preparing for KJ's 6th birthday, wondering if there was a little sister or brother in my belly... πŸ’•

Bigs turns 7 (!!!) on Saturday- and Milk Boss is tearing around the house like a big kid!! How??? Man!
~

Unreal to think about the transformation that happened in my body over the last 12 months... πŸ’–

Nourishing + growing a tiny human,

Learning to trust my body in the most profound way,

Welcoming and embracing help,

Experiencing unmedicated labor for the first time,

Allowing my body to take the lead,

Releasing all expectations of how the delivery 'should be,'

Surrendering to the Universe,

Delivering baby girl number 4 via VBAC,

Adjusting to life as a family of 6,

Working through postpartum depression,

And, slowly, but surely regaining my physical strength. βœ¨πŸ™πŸ’–βœ¨

Our postpartum journey is as unique as we are ~ though we may experience similar things, no two paths are exactly the same.

It's not a race. And there is no room for judgement.

Regaining strength takes time ~ there is power in the small steps we take + the tribe behind us.

Trust the process. Trust yourself. One small step at a time. πŸ’•βœ¨

Progress is doing military push-ups on your toes. βœ¨πŸ’ͺπŸ‘Šβœ¨
